What is wrong with me? Why can’t I just be normal? Maybe she would want me if I were different. You said you love me, shouldn’t you want this? How can you know if you've never even tried?
As a part of The Naked I: Recognize/D, a collection of work by trans and gender nonconforming writers, I directed this short piece, which embodies the inner struggle of an asexual individual to find acceptance in the LGBTQ community. Using Viewpoints and collaborative creation, I led the ensemble in crafting a physical piece that mixed the abstract and the quotidian.
